My name is Tim Brooks and I'm pursuing a bachelor’s of science degress in Interior Design from University of Central Arkansas.
I graduate this December and currently looking for an internship that's hopefully in an amazing location. I have been to Colorado to climb a 14,000 foot mountain to crowd surfing to the ball drop in NYC and riding a camel to the great pyramids.
Internationally-renowned sculptor Patrick Dougherty was installing an installation on campus and one of my instructors decided to have the class help him. As we walked up standing there nerves from not knowing what to do, I just grabbed a rack and stared spreading some mulch. Half way through are class period I was in charge of 8 - 10 people including my instructor. Patrick Dougherty noticed and leaned down from some scaffolding and called me the "Director". This Demonstrates that I know when to lead when the task relays on my related skills but I know when to follow others to learn a skill I'm haven't experienced or know much about.
