The Existing lots 1 and 2, will be transformed into the site of Counseling clinic LLC and Cognitive Behavior Clinic LLF, a multi-use facility to include counseling rooms, medical rooms, and urine and blood lab. Located in West Little Rock, a facility of this nature will help the growing mental health problems for middle to low income families and individuals.

In an attempt to identify users’ opinion and preferences for potential design of a multi-use mental health facility. I have conducted a site visit to understand the surrounding businesses, and user interviews at local businesses near the site to get a better understanding of the different businesses. I reviewed relevant literature about different types of mental illness and health. Having gathered this information, the design of a mental health facility will enhance the health and welfare of the west little rock community.

The current lots are about 18,000 square feet and will accommodate two a joining facilities. The space will promote a rethinking of how medical clinics can be well designed by making individual patient the center of the design.
